It is now 6 months since the last Wedding Royal Atelier here at the Chateau Saint Georges, and it feels fitting to look back and share the highlights with you before we announce news on our next one later this year. The Wedding Royal Atelier in October 2019 was our second one here at the chateau and brought true wedding luxury to the French Riviera here in Grasse.
It was an international affair with European wedding businesses as well as of course local French ones, with some suppliers even travelling from as far a field as USA to be with us and share their work with our couples. It was a proud moment to welcome the industries finest to the chateau and to connect them with brides and grooms to be.
From the embellished British independent wedding dress designs of Bowen Dryden to the elegant groom’s tailoring of Aux Corps Anonymes, our couples had a great choice for their big day. Our models walked around the show, wearing their designs and were captured by the photographers who also attended. The hair and makeup duo of Julien Matha and Amandine Poisson were on hand to offer beauty advice for brides and showcase their talents.
We had all the luxury wedding details covered too, from the stunning wedding cakes designed locally by Les Gâteaux Créatifs de Val and French macarons by Maison Ladurée, to the stunning flowers by Emily Alarcon, also based in the South of France and not forgetting the individual paper flower creations by Paper Song.
For couples needing more help with their wedding, we were excited to share wedding planners and stylists from both France and the UK, including Marseille’s Donna Design, the French speaking, London destination wedding planner Audrey Ametis and award winning R&F Weddings also based in the UK. We also loved the work of Deco et Harmonie and Deco Flamme who can manage the art direction of your big day.
De Bouche en Bouche shared their tasty food and catering, Fragonard introduced fragrance for weddings (something that Grasse is famous for!) and we welcomed furniture by Velvet Riviera that works both indoors and outdoors.
To put the wow into your wedding, we also brought you the entertainment company including lighting, sound and DJs, Mix and Light as well as offering elements to make your wedding day “you” such as live painting by Kiarra Illustration, the selfie mirror by Miroir Magic and the cute food truck specialising in socca, the traditonal dish of Nice, L’Atelier De La Socca.
You can see what an amazing day it was filled with businesses that can create your luxury wedding day. We cannot wait to share details on the 2020 Wedding Royal Atelier but for now enjoy the photographs from last year.
